Set sail on a thrilling journey into pirate lore at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom with the unveiling of The Beak and Barrel, a brand-new Pirates of the Caribbean–themed lounge opening in Adventureland in late 2025.

This immersive tavern promises to transport fans—young and old—into a world of maritime mayhem, complete with storytelling parrots, atmospheric surroundings, and cinematic surprises anchored in Disney’s rich narrative heritage.

About the Experience:

The Beak and Barrel is the first on-site bar in Magic Kingdom, finally breaking a decades-long tradition of limited alcohol offerings.

Located adjacent to the iconic Pirates of  caribbean dark ride in Adventureland, this thematic lounge brings a fully immersive extension to the beloved attraction, inviting guests on a 45-minute sensory voyage through pirate-themed space.

Disney unveiled a few of the dishes guests will be able to enjoy at the new outpost: from tropical beverages to deep-sea-themed eats.

Inside, visitors will explore:

  • The Mess: Once a Spanish soldiers’ hall, now reclaimed by pirates. Expect communal tables beneath a dramatic candle-covered anchor chandelier and “Mermaid Windows” salvaged from sunken vessels.

  • The Skull Bar: A shipwreck-inspired bar centerpiece, topped by Rummy, a storytelling parrot reminiscent of the original Barker Bird.

  • The Captain’s Quarters: A refined, wood-paneled booth area around a fireplace, complete with miniature ship models in bottles and elegant décor fit for a commanding pirate.

  • The Mapmaker’s Room: A detail-rich space filled with nautical charts, rolled parchments, ink spills—and even cannonball damage in the walls—to transport guests into pirate planning sessions gone awry.
